Happy New year

A popular countdown event at Zojoji Temple invites worshippers to write their wish for the coming new year on a note and attach it to an eco-friendly balloon, which will be released in unison into the night sky as the temple’s midnight bell announces the arrival of new year. FREE!!

今年も大晦日恒例のカウントダウンを開催いたします。今回で21回目を迎えるこの行事は、年越しの瞬間にご参拝の皆様がそれぞれ願い事の書かれた用紙を貼 り付けた環境風船約3,000個を大梵鐘の音と共に一斉に夜空へと放ち、行く年の自分を省み、来る年の平和と幸福をお祈りする行事です。お誘い合わせの 上、是非ご参加ください（参加無料）。

20:30　お願い事用紙配布開始（増上寺光摂殿にて）
※時間前に定員に達した場合は、事前配布をおこなうことがあります。
22:30　風船引き換え開始（増上寺光摂殿にて）
23:20　カウントダウンイベント（鐘楼堂にて）
23:59　カウントダウン（境内全域にて）
※願い事用紙がないと風船はお渡しできませんので、ご注意下さい。
